Septentrio collaborates with Xona Space Systems to develop PULSAR GNSS receivers

June 26, 2023- Recently, well-known navigation technology company Septentrio announced a partnership with Xona Space Systems to jointly develop a compatible Xona multi band PULSAR Innovative receiver for signals. This multi frequency receiver can decode all PULSAR in parallel The signal is seamlessly integrated with other standard GNSS signals, heralding a new chapter in the field of positioning, navigation, and timing (PNT).

Xona Space Systems is committed to building the next generation of space-based PNT systems to meet the growing demand for secure, accurate, and robust services. Its PULSAR The system consists of 260 Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellites, which are closer to Earth than traditional Global Positioning System (GPS) satellites, providing higher signal power and more advanced signal design, making it possible for better multipath suppression, higher accuracy, and enhanced interference and deception protection.

As a leader in the field of PNT receivers, Septentrio's high-precision and flexible operation technology has been widely applied in critical infrastructure and industrial applications, such as precision agriculture, construction, and robotics. This collaboration with Xona Space Systems will not only accelerate PULSAR The testing and application of the system will also provide users with a valuable experimental opportunity to test PULSAR in different scenarios Compatibility with existing GNSS systems.

Bryan Chan, Vice President of Business Development and Strategy at Xona Space Systems, said, "We are honored to collaborate with industry leaders like Septentrio to drive the development of PNT technology. Septentrio's receivers will provide our users with a unique platform to experiment and experience PULSAR first." ™ System. "

Septentrio's Director of Business Development, Jan Van Hees, also expressed high expectations for this collaboration: "In the new era of PNT technology, we are pleased to work hand in hand with Xona Space Systems. We will leverage our rich experience in the Global Navigation Satellite System (GNSS) ecosystem, especially in Galileo systems, to contribute to the future development of space-based PNTs."

One of the achievements of this collaboration is a brand new experimental PULSAR The receiver was exhibited at the ION Joint Navigation Conference held in San Diego, California from June 12th to 15th, 2023. This receiver not only demonstrates the technological strength of Septentrio and Xona Space Systems, but also points the way for the future development of PNT technology.
