Description

• Mosaic Click is a compact GNSS receiver based on Segmentrio, Mosaic-X5. This receiver provides centimeter level accuracy in multiple bands and satellite constellations such as GPS, GLONASS, Beidou, Galileo, and NavIC.
• Mosaic Click integrates AIM+technology for advanced interference suppression and anti spoofing, providing unparalleled reliability and accuracy. This technology can eliminate various signal interferences, from simple and continuous narrowband signals to complex broadband and pulse interferences.
• Mosaic Click is designed specifically for mass market applications such as robotics and autonomous technology, ensuring low power consumption while offering a wide range of interface options and RTK positioning.
• The communication between Mosaic-X5 and the host MCU is carried out through the UART interface, using standard UART RX and TX pins as well as hardware flow control pins (CTS/RTS).
• The Mosaic-X5 module communicates at a speed of 115200bps, enabling efficient data exchange. It also includes a reset pin (RST) for direct module reset and a ready indicator light (RDY), which indicates the operational status of the module through a logic high (active) or low (standby or reset) state.
• The Mosaic-X5 module supports USB connection in device mode and follows the USB 2.0 standard for high-speed data transfer (up to 480Mbps). It includes USB power options implemented through LDO (MCP1826) or alternative power switches (TPS22965), each of which ensures the required 3.3V voltage for normal module operation.
• The Mosaic-X5 module is equipped with a microSD card slot for external data recording, which can be controlled through the LOG button. This button can switch SD card logging and manage the installation status of the card, which can be monitored through a green LED indicator marked as LOG.
• The Mosaic-X5 module has a universal user configurable red LED, a yellow PPS (pulse per second) LED, and four test points. TP1 and TP2 are two event timers that can be used to time mark external events at a resolution of 20ns, while TR3 and TP4 have the same functionality as ON/OFF and Reset.
• The Mosaic-X5 module has u Fl connectors, such as the active GPS antenna provided by MIKROE, combined with IPEX-SMA cables, provide flexible and efficient connection options. In addition, users can easily choose the power supply for external antennas by selecting between 3.3V and 5V on the VANT SEL jumper.
• The Mosaic-X5 module can operate at logic voltage levels of 3.3V and 5V selected through VCC SEL jumpers.
• This Click board also comes with a library that includes easy-to-use features and sample code, which can serve as a reference for further development.
